 Kabab Tikki Chana Pulao

        




Ingredients


1 Oil ¼ cup


3 Tomatoes 1 cup; chopped

4 Red chilli powder 1 tbsp 

5 Coriander powder 1 tsp 

6 Cumin powder 1 tsp

7 Salt 1 tsp

8 Yogurt 1 cup

9 Green chillies. 1 tbsp; chopped

10 Green coriander ¼ cup; chopped

12 Kabab Tikki....10-12 pieces


Kabab Tikki as per instructions on pack

Heat oil in a pan, add onion and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.

Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and mix well. Add yogurt and cook for 4-5 minutes or until oil separates.

Add fried Kabab Tikki to the prepared masala and cook for a minute. Garnish with coriander and green chillies. Kabab Tikki Masala is ready. Serve with Chana Pulao.


Chana Pulao


Ingredients

1 Oil . – ¼ cup

2 Onion. 1 cup; sliced

3 Black cardamom 1-2

4 Cloves 6

5 Salt 1 tbsp

6 Green chillies 1 tbsp; chopped

7 White chickpeas 2 cups; boiled

8 Water 3½ cups

9 Rice... 2 cups; soaked


In a pot, heat oil and add onion; fry until golden brown.

Add cumin seeds, black cardamom, cloves and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add salt, green chillies and mix it well. Add boiled chickpeas, water and cook for 3-4 more minutes.

Add rice and cook until 80% water evaporates.

Cover and steam over low flame for 10-15 minutes. Chana Pulao is ready.
